Setting the Variable
Temperature
The variable temperature can
be used to maintain your desired
temperature.
NOTE: The variable
temperature only operates
when the heater is being used
in the Auto mode.
Press the MODE
button until the
heater is set to AUTO mode.
The LCD screen will display the default
temperature of 25°C and will flash.
When the temperature is flashing,
you may set the desired temperature
pressing the VARIABLE TEMPERATURE
buttons on the control panel.
To adjust the set temperature press
the
VARIABLE TEMPERATURE
button to increase the desired
temperature or press the
VARIABLE
TEMPERATURE button to decrease the
desired temperature.
The temperature can be set between
15° C and 35°C.
When the air temperature reaches
2-3°C above the set temperature,
the heater will automatically cut out,
although the fan will continue to run
for approximately 20 seconds to cool
the heater.
When the air temperature drops
below the set temperature the unit will
begin heating again.
Setting the Oscillation
The oscillation function works in all
operating modes.
Press the POWER/SWING
button
once to activate the oscillation. The
heater will begin to oscillate from side
to side.
Press the POWER/SWING
button
again to stop the heater from
oscillating.
Setting the Auto-Off Timer
The timer function works in all
operating modes, and switches the
unit off after a preset number of hours.
Press the TIMER button to activate
the timer settings. A timer symbol
will appear on the LCD screen
displaying 1 hour.
Press the TIMER
button to cycle
through the one hour increments, up
to 8 hours. The unit will then switch
itself to standby mode after the
selected number of hours has passed.
Safety Features
This heater includes an audible alarm
to warn that parts of the heater are
overheating. If the alarm sounds,
immediately turn the heater off and
inspect for any objects on or adjacent
to the heater that may cause high
temperature. DO NOT OPERATE THE
HEATER WITH THE ALARM SOUNDING.
