The kettle should be stored on its

power base when not in use.

The power outlet should be switched

off and the power cord unplugged

from the power outlet when not in use.

CAUTION: This appliance

is designed for the boiling

of drinking quality water

only; never use it to heat

or boil any other liquids

or foodstuffs. The lid

should always be ﬁrmly in

place and locked closed

before use.

CAUTION: Do not release

the lid while the water is

boiling. Ensure the lid is

closed whilst boiling.

Safety Boil Dry Protection

This kettle is ﬁtted with a safety device,

which protects against overheating

should your appliance be operated

with insufﬁcient water. If this occurs

the kettle will stop heating and

automatically switch “OFF”.

Should this occur, switch off at the

power outlet and unplug. Allow the

kettle to cool down before reﬁlling.

Remove the kettle from the power

base and add water. Return the kettle

to the power base. The safety device

will automatically reset.

For additional safety your kettle is

ﬁtted with an additional thermal

cutout. In the event of overheating,

the kettle will automatically shut down

to prevent further damage. Should

this occur, take your kettle to an

authorised Kambrook Service Centre.
